About Fernanda Uribe
Born in 1986, Fernanda Uribe grew up in the border town of Tijuana, Mexico. From a young age she was involved in local exhibits and was named Young Ambassador of the Arts in Baja California. In 2004, she was presented the Artist in Excellence Award by Bank of America and moved to Europe. She obtained her BFA and MFA in Visual Arts & Curating from the Nuova Academia di Belle Arti in Milan, Italy.
Her work as been presented in various art fairs and residencies in India, Italy, Africa, Mexico and USA. In 2018 her sculptural project, PuntoVerde Ceramics was selected to represent Mexican Design in The Los Angeles Design Week and Mexico City Design week. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
